Nice hand tool

I enjoy the way it fits in my hand. I have small hands. This is perfect. I haven't start the cracking walnuts yet. My job losin it sh#t when i am not there.

Easy to clean & good to have on hand.

I hadn’t soaked my black walnuts in water long enough and ended up using my shears quite a bit the first time I tried to crack nuts with my GGG. Since the shells were still really brittle I did break a little of the tip off but they still worked fine. Once I figured out how long to soak the black walnuts (36-48 hours) I rarely had to use the shears. Seems easy enough to grind down the broken tip if I really had too but I don’t see the need since the GGG does an amazing job! The shears are easy to clean and handy to have. They are better than using snips from my tool box to do the same thing.

Necessity for doing nuts

This is a great little tool, couldnt do my nuts without it. They will break if too much force is applied, but are easily replaced for little cost. Keep up the good work!!!!

Best Nutcracker & Shears Ever !

After collecting fresh hickory nuts and cracking them with, hammers, vice's and some other creative methods, we looked for something that could be a bit better. We ordered our Grandpa's Goodie Getter and the shears. Let me tell you, it is worth the money. Our nuts were cracking perfectly in no time! Best thing Ever Invented! Thank You!

Works great so far on black walnut

Just received it and used it for a couple of nut cracking sessions So far a big help in getting large pieces extracted from the shell

The jaws are sized just right. Works much better than the wire strippers I was using.

I haven’t had the chance to use them yet as we’re just now gathering nuts. Handling them and inspecting then they appear to be top quality. If an issue should arise I would assume it would be due to operator misuse . Having watched the video I hope to avoid that problem. The delivery time of these and the Goody machine and ease of ordering and professional educational videos make this purchase exceptional! I like that it is made in America!

We have been loving this handy gadget! We've tried others and none work like this one.

Haven't opened the box yet, as Walnut season is two months away and have been busy with other harvesting. Happy to write a review once I try them out!

The shears came with the grandpa’s goody getter and I ordered a extra pair they work great but if you are doing a lot of black walnuts get extra. I’m going to order 6 more they work great
