I’ve had my goody getter for some time now and come to the conclusion that there is no other on the market that can compare to the ease in which it functions. I own other mechanical and manual black walnut cracking devices and in my opinion if you want large walnut meat’s with little to no small pieces this walnut cracker(Grandpa’s Goody Getter) can’t be beat. I’ve used mine so much I’ve worn down a set of rams to ware they needed to be replaced. The sales representative was so helpful and understanding about what I needed that they were able to ship a set right away. I’m just a hobbyist that enjoys to give the gift of some old time flavor which is healthier for my family, friends and neighbors Thank you

I really like it and it’s easy to use but there’s one thing I don’t understand? When I pull it forward sometimes it doesn’t crack but I have to push back and pull again. Am I working it wrong? The overall experience has been great and no smashing my fingers
