Bigger Nut Pieces

I get much larger nut pieces with this cracker than I did with my old C.E. Potter cracker. It’s easier to load and unload, and pieces of shell don’t go flying everywhere like shrapnel. I was glad to support Dennis and what I am sure is years of experience finding the best way to crack black walnuts. Proudly made in the USA!

Boy does this ever give me the control. My first 2 Black Walnut cracking (that I have ever done) I got 4 quarters out of each of them. I didn't expect that!!!!!! Got to get back to work harvesting and drying............ Am fully satisfied, thanks....... M L

This is the real deal

Living on a farm full of black walnut hickory and pecans, this caught my eye. I easily ordered directly from the company. It exceeded my expectations by being able to consistently remove quarters and halves and even a few whole nuts from the black walnut shell! Unexpected surprise: this tool is so enjoyable that it relaxes and had a calming effect that is contagious. My neighbor after observing it in use immediately bought one. My busy family makes time to sit and shell and as a result spend memorable moments together. I keep it greased like the instructions say to do and have gotten 30 cups in 8 days of spare time shelling. LOVE IT!

I have not used mine yet. I borrowed one from a friend last year. It worked great so I bought me one. Between a drought year and squirrels I don’t have any this year. So mine is still in box. I highly recommend it.

This nut cracking machine is the best you can get! I have tried to use other nut cracking tools and some hand tools not mentioned but nothing has ever worked like this Grampa’s Goodie Getter! The black walnut cracker is just as advertised and more. Screw in the handle, pull the pin, and go. I mounted mine to a bench seat at the dining table. Getting complete halves with little practice.

Just buy it

It's great. It works great. It's super solid. Cracks great. Everything you'd ever want in any nutcracker. Especially a if you're trying to crack black walnuts. Worth the money. Just buy it.

Grandpa's Goody Getter

It is pretty fantastic! Very easy to put together, mount and use. It cracks the whole nut, and leaves you with large pieces that either fall out or are easily removed with the tool that comes with. I should have bought one long ago!

I purchased this as a gift for my father. He had been wanting one for quite some time. He is truly enjoying this goody getter.

The only one of it's kind that I could find, and it does the job for my black walnuts. I get full quarter pieces now, and save energy from using a hammer. I recommend their PLIERS as well!
